Our Partners
Reese's Remembrance Garden is made possible by cooperation and generosity of the following partners:
The Town of Lysander Parks & Recreation Department offers a diverse, year-round program of activities for people of all ages, along with several well-maintained facilities, including Lysander Park. The Department has graciously offered to allow us to plant the bulb garden on their property, near the entrance to Lysander Park. This location was important to us because it is a short walk from Reese's family's home and we wanted them to enjoy the blooms on a daily basis each spring. In addition to sharing their land, Lysander Parks & Recreation is also sharing their resources, by assisting us with the labor for the initial planting and the ongoing upkeep and maintenance.
Fun Fact:
Sometimes life really comes full circle. Three of us working on Reese's Remembrance Garden also worked at Lysander Parks & Recreation's Day Camp at C.W. Baker High School in the late 1990s.
